Family is more than just a biological attachment, but when this 25-year-old discovered that she wasn't technically her mother's biobaby, her familial loyalties were immediately severed. Thrown away with the rest of her trust, she was horrified to learn that her mother not only hid a huge secret about her lineage, but that her mom's best friend—her "Auntie"—was actually a little closer to her DNA than she thought. 

However, as many parents know, parenting is far more than just biology: It's a lot of love, care, and weekend soccer practices. Yet still, this daughter refused to accept that her mother wasn't biologically related to her, because apparently all that matters is what's in our 23andMe results, and not the 25 years of family dinners, Christmasses, and childhood piano recitals repeating the same three notes from Hot Crossed Buns.
